The commonality of homelessness is unfortunately excessive among those who are veterans. The reason for this seems to be the post traumatic stress they endure from witnessing and being involved in horrific and disturbing events. Focused on homeless military veterans in New York City, this homeless shelter is located in East Harlem. The floor plans and design will highlight the fragmentation of their minds and disintegration from the common world, while adding people and technological integration that will help mend their struggle.
